India, along with ten other WHO south East Asia Region member countries, have resolved to eliminate measles and control rubella (CRS) by 2020.In this direction, ministry of health and family welfare has initiated measles-rubella (MR) Vaccination campaign in the age group of 9 months to less than 15 years in a phased manner across the nation.
This vaccination camp was organized in our school on 10th Dec.2018(Monday). First our school took consent from students' parents about their ward's vaccination. Those students whose parents send 'Yes' in the consent form got vaccination on that day.
Students from nursery till class X in the age group of 9 Months to 15 years immunized under this camp. There were 8 counters in our school for vaccination.
This whole camp was guided by our respected principal Ajita Parbat Mam and Co-coordinators Mrs. Bhavna mam and Miss Anuja Mam.
