Hindi was adopted as the official language by the Constituent Assembly on 14th September 1949.

14th September is celebrated as Hindi day. Like every year this year also TSSM’s Cygnet Pubic School celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ with great enthusiasm. All our Hindi teachers right from 1st standard to 10th standard celebrated this day with students in their own innovative and creative way A special Assembly was conducted. Students performed Hindi Pakhawada Song, Hindi Pledge, Hindi Pratharna, etc.

Principal Mrs. Ajita Parbat speaking on the occasion tried to spread the message “Hindi hamaari shaan hai; desh ka abhimaan hai.” She emphasized that we should be proud of our national language & should learn to speak in public domain without any hesitation.’

The best thing about this day was that all the teachers and students were communicating with each other in ‘Hindi’ language.
