75th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Cygnet Public School (New) Narhe. The school decorated with tricolor saffron, white and green balloons and flags welcomed the eyes of all to the function. The students came in proper school uniform.
The ceremony started at 8:00 AM in the school open ground with large crowd of staff, students and parents.
To commemorate the sovereignty of our Nation, Trustee, JSPM and TSSM Institutions Narhe Campus Honorable Rushriraj Sawant Sir-(Trustee JSPM and TSSM) Principal of our School Mrs. Ajita Parbat Ma’am and Pricipal of Blossom Public School Mrs. Vandana Kharat Ma’am hoisted the  flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.
The students of Choir group of Std.5th-10th in their melodious voices sang the Patriotic song- that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the Mother Land.
The dance performance by secondary students makes patriotism filled the hearts of everyone
The program culminated with Vote of Thanks. At the end sweets were distributed to the students. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and Unity in Diversity.
